Grand Cayman West Bay Seven Mile Beach Trip

We had a great week this week.  We stayed at Plantana which was a condo so we were able to get our own groceries and be very very close to the beach.  It was very nice.  Even the 14.00 for a 6 pack of miller lite :)

We visited Barefoot Beach (not so good with bare feet) on the north side of the island one day.

We went to Stingray City which was fabulous.  The kids were not afraid at all.  We went to Starfish point where there were real starfish in the water the kids could touch.  We stopped at Coral Reef to snorkel and then the boys were able to jump off the boat at end.  Fabulous day.  The operation that we went with did a great job with the kids.  They especially liked the pizza :)

 Andrew said no kissing!

These guys were so nice.  When the girls got tired they let them sit on the boat and help feed the fish squid so we could see them while snorkeling.

 Tired baby :)

We went to the turtle farm.  The original Turtle farm was destroyed in the hurricane in 2004 but they have done a great job.  Andrew loved holding them when they were flapping around.  They showed them how to rub under their necks to get them to chill out.

They went on jetski's

Darrell went diving

Super Clear water

Puffer fish.  I think he is cool.

Barracuda friend along for the dive.  Darrell said it followed them almost the whole way.

USS Kittiwake was sunk off Seven Mile Beach 4 years ago.  Not much of a reef yet but in fairly shallow water.

Banana Boat Ride down the beach

The boys also went on a bioluminescence Kayak
tour.  You couldn't take pictures but it only one of 4 places in the world where you can see it light up at night.  Disco Shrimp :)
